The place was a real find – they had tea, coffee, milk on hand, the gardens were stunning, and the verandah was perfect for unwinding. The room was well furnished, the ensuite was top‑notch, and the new air‑con kept things cool. Wi‑Fi worked fine, and the location was great – close to the beach, a supermarket, and a fuel station. Honestly, it felt better than a lot of other spots around the Cape, and I didn’t run into any problems at all.

I’d been to Lockhart in 2013, so this was my first return trip. After a long work day, the Greenhoose felt like a blessing. The staff were amazing and super helpful, and the room was so comfy I felt grateful to have a place to crash. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous – I wish I could’ve stayed longer to soak it all in.

I loved the stay overall – it was a nice break from home for my birthday with family. The only hiccup was that the plates were left on the table and the bins were still full from the previous guests, so we had to take care of that ourselves. Other than that, everything was fine. Thanks for the hospitality.
