“Full kitchen Main Stay reason”
The room’s kitchen had plenty of gear, and the hotel welcomed pets, even offering a small dog relief spot. Breakfast was tasty, sunsets were gorgeous, and watching the baseball games was a highlight. Nearby, Whitnall Park and the Oak Leaf Trail give plenty of walking and running options, and coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, Umbrella Bar, and Lux Golf Bays are all within walking distance. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful, and the front desk staff always made sure we were greeted and had everything we needed. The people who set up the breakfast buffet were true hospitality pros, paying close attention to detail. On the downside, the front desk manager’s condescending attitude was off-putting compared to the rest of the team. He didn’t know that the key‑security settings could render room keys unusable if you extend your stay. The pool was small, cold, and had a sign forbidding use of the door to the outside for security reasons, making the pool area unbearably hot; we wanted to sit at the picnic tables. The parking lot fills up at night, and campers and large trucks occupy several stalls.
“Nice all round time.”
I liked the kitchenette and the room was comfortable, and the location was nice. The room warmed up at night even when the AC was set low.
“Very comfortable. We will stay at this hotel again!”
The staff were friendly and the value was great! We wished the staff had followed up a bit more on the room amenities, and we had to locate our own towels because they weren’t in the room when we checked in.
“Wonderful stay. Conveniently located by the milkmen field and near some attractions I wanted to see. Mitchell dome park.”
The hotel was right next to the Milkmen Field, but finding the driveway was a bit tricky.
“Convenient and nice overlooking the baseball fields”
The place was clean.
