Sandies Bathala

We had a wonderful stay! The resort offers plenty of activities and beautiful beaches. The food was delicious and varied, and the drinks were excellent too. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, especially Khalil at the bar, who is a wonderful, dedicated person always ready to help. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend this resort.

Everything was great. I’m giving constructive feedback: the outdoor furniture should be improved to be more comfortable. I insist this is constructive; the experience at Sandies was a 10. I would definitely return, but the exterior furnishings could use some enhancement.

We liked many aspects of the stay: the villa by the sea was super beautiful, and it was wonderful to have direct access to the sea from the terrace, which was spectacular and offered a view of countless stars at night. The staff were fantastic, attentive, and friendly—one of the best parts. The food was very tasty, clearly prepared by many Italians, making the Italian cuisine spectacular. What we didn’t like was that there was no mention of any helicopter tours and we couldn’t go by boat, especially given the extra cost of the helicopter.

The resort is well maintained, the staff are helpful, and the barrier is incredible with a constant presence of large fish. The kitchen is excellent, and the diving is well prepared. The housekeeper was not up to standard.

The water villa was fantastic, the restaurant was good, the staff were friendly, and the place was quiet.
