Everything was magical, the coral reef was stunning, fishermen were ready to show you their craft, and it was easy to get a side‑car to the whale‑shark and island spots. Most importantly, a charming family runs the house and its fascinating garden for plant lovers, with no nuisances at all. There’s nothing, and you can explore everything around Oslob without being among tourist hordes. A paradise, ideal even with kids.

Panyang, the caretaker, was incredibly accommodating. We arrived late for check‑in, but she waited patiently and helped us settle in right away, making the arrival feel smooth and welcoming. The beach view was superb; I ended up sleeping for half the day just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, while my sister worked on her thesis at the resort with the ocean right in front of her. I told her her setup looked like the cover of *People We Meet on Vacation*—doing her thesis with that beautiful seaside view. It made the stay even more fun and relaxing. No problems so far.

The resort is amazing, with a beautiful garden full of coconut palms, two hammocks, a Nipa hut with a large lounge and another Nipa hut for relaxed evening meals; I loved watching the sunset and the unique sunrise from the lounge with a direct sea view while enjoying a complimentary coconut. It’s the only resort with a huge sandbank that’s perfect for swimming at high tide, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helping with the outdoor kitchen, arranging whale‑shark watching and waterfall trips. I stayed in a budget room without air‑conditioning, which was spotless and had everything I needed. The only downside was that my visit felt far too short, so I’ll definitely return, perhaps booking a pricier, air‑conditioned room for a longer stay to see more sights and enjoy my “second home” again. The location of this place is absolutely perfect - it's calm, beautiful, and surrounded by nature. The family running the place is warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make my stay enchanting, from arranging transport to taking me on a whale watching tour. I'm so grateful for their hospitality.

I was blown away by this hotel's stunning location, just a stone's throw from the city of Oslab, with a beautiful green area and a private beach that's a rare find in these parts. The staff are absolute angels, especially Jon Jon, who helped us arrange transfers and booked us on a snorkeling trip with whale sharks, as well as visits to waterfalls and monkey sanctuaries. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
