The location was beautiful, hygienic, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful—definitely a solid 10! We found the beds personally a bit hard, but that’s just a matter of preference.

I was a bit nervous about visiting Marrakech after hearing mixed reviews from friends and online forums, but the moment we stepped out of the airport and met Saiid—who had arranged to pick us up and drive us to the Riad—any worry vanished. Saiid speaks excellent English, and from the instant we met him he was reassuring, knowledgeable about his city, and welcoming. The other staff we encountered at the Riad—Mohammed, Iman, and Saiid's wife—were all friendly, helpful, and made everything feel effortless. With both Google Maps and the street map Saiid handed us, we felt confident enough that any pre‑trip reservations we had disappeared. Our room was spacious, clean, and housekeeping came daily. Hot water was plentiful, and there was an in‑room safe. We could request sodas, water, mint tea, etc. from reception whenever we wanted, and although it was added to our bill, it was cheaper than buying outside the riad. We booked a cookery class while staying, which was lovely; Mohammed had us shop for ingredients beforehand, and he stayed with us to answer questions and translate with Saiid's wife, who taught us. On our last day we took a full day trip to Essaouira with Saiid, who was chatty, educated, and informative. A couple of stops along the way broke up the journey, and the day out was beneficial because it let us see another side of Morocco beyond Marrakech. We loved everything about the Riad.

The place was beautiful and peaceful, and after a long day of walking it was lovely to return and relax on the rooftop or in the courtyard. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel very relaxed and welcome. Our room faced the front and there was some noise from outside on one of the nights, so earplugs might help if you sleep lightly.
