The host supplied plenty of ingredients, great for friends or family who enjoy cooking together; however, the rooms only have two double beds, while the other six are single beds, so arranging rooms for a family trip could be a challenge.

Even with a big group, there are private rooms and separate baths, so privacy is maintained; last year the bath required stepping outside, but this year walls were added so the water didn’t cool; no negatives.

We stayed in a gorgeous spot, just a short walk from the Cherry Blossom Tunnel by the river. The house had been beautifully renovated and offered great facilities. It comfortably fit all eight of us, with plenty of showers, restrooms, and sinks. The daily complimentary fresh fruits were a nice touch. The only downside was that the small steps from the kitchen to the entry level were hard to spot because of the lovely wooden floor finish, and three people nearly tripped.

We were thrilled with this place; it went beyond what we expected. Traveling as a group of eight, everything was spot‑on: new, clean, spacious, and we felt well looked after the whole time. There were eight cozy bedrooms, three roomy bathrooms, four sinks, and five toilets. Nothing was missing—everything was perfect.
