“Ok place for the money”
The location was great, just a short walk to town, the shower pressure was good and the room was a good size. I liked the lady who did breakfast and made coffee; despite not understanding each other she was always smiling and made sure everyone had their coffee order in the morning. When I booked the room the image showed a small balcony, which was why I chose it! I paid for a sea view and the picture displayed a balcony, but our room didn’t have one. I asked at reception and the person was sulky, saying I needed to book one. How would I know to do that when I thought I had one? I just think it’s false advertising. She didn’t care, said she would get back to me and never followed up. I also didn’t follow up because I thought, you know, I’m in a beautiful place, let it go! I also think we would have been treated better if we were European. We had breakfast a few times at 0900 and there was no yoghurt; it looked pretty dismal with items not being restocked. Tomatoes looked days old. It was ok mostly. When we left we discovered a restaurant next door overlooking the ocean. It would have been good to have this info at check‑in.
