The single room was old and smelled damp; the toilet had a hole in the ceiling that looked scary. The twin room was acceptable, but the window leaked, letting rainwater in and dampening the side of the window.

The location was close to the ferry to Tioman, but the room had a strong insecticide smell that made it hard to breathe; there was no window and the bathroom vent didn’t work, so the odor lingered.

It’s well situated for the jetty and bus, but the room has no window.

The proximity to the ferry boarding was good, but there were cockroaches and the air‑conditioning couldn’t be turned off.

The food shop was very close to the accommodation, but the price varied depending on the view.
