“Décevant”

I found the breakfast average, and the dinner service was cancelled at the last minute when we went downstairs to eat, forcing us to look for another restaurant.

“Une bonne surprise”

The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent bedding and a spotless bathroom, and the noise from the busy street was effectively muted inside thanks to the soundproofing; the garden and pool were nice surprises, though the street outside was still audible.

“Accueil déplorable.”

The bathroom and room were clean, but the managers were unfriendly and blamed us, with the manager aggressively speaking to another guest and pointing at us when we just wanted the keys, saying “you see they booked online, I lose 20%.” A pet tax was demanded halfway through the stay instead of at check‑in, with the manager saying “we forgot to tell you there’s a pet tax,” and “others let their dogs sleep in their cars so they didn’t pay”; if you want to bring a dog and avoid the fee, the only option is to keep it in the car. I understand a pet tax is reasonable, but the way it was handled was unacceptable. The managers seemed to spy on everyone, the shutters wouldn’t close, and there was no outlet on one side of the bed. I will definitely not return.
