The location was convenient for what we wanted to do, but our AC never worked, so we had to keep the window open the whole time and it was scorching. We told several staff members about it, yet no one offered housekeeping. The hot tub/spa was broken, and the dresser drawers were so damaged we could barely open them to put anything inside.

The breakfast was good and the location was good, but when we arrived on 9/19 for a getaway with my husband after a two‑hour drive from Indiana to Holland, the side door to the hotel didn’t latch and opened without a key. The shower floor looked very dirty—so black it made us skip the shower entirely. The toilet seat wasn’t secure; it lifted up from the backside when we sat on it. At the pool spa area we found the hot tub empty and out of order. We stayed in room 200 and will not return to this hotel.

The hotel is very convenient to shopping.

The price was high for this time of year.

Breakfast was okay, a nice quick bite before heading out each day, but it would have been helpful to have cold water and coffee in the lobby after breakfast hours. Our showers were lukewarm at best, and the pool and hot tub closed after our first night.
