“Comfortable room, in central position for visiting the castle and town”

The room was small but cozy with a view of the castle, and the bar offered outdoor seating. The continental breakfast was basic. We had trouble with our door key—it spun in the lock and required many attempts to lock and unlock. I mentioned it to the bar staff and emailed the property, but there was no manager or owner on site and we only stayed one night, so I’m not sure if it was resolved. Parking, as advised, is close on the green next to the sea at £8 a night—unpleasant if it’s raining.

“Good accommodation for a short stay & good base for visiting nearby places.”

The staff were friendly, the room and bed comfortable, and the location was convenient within Beaumaris. Parking in Beaumaris is terrible, with a 24‑hour fee and an additional overnight charge that expires four hours before the original 24‑hour period. The breakfast could have been slightly more varied day to day, such as different fruit or pastries.

The setting is very quiet, though it’s a bit far from the city centre. The host is extremely kind and the breakfast is delicious. Parking is free. The stay was lovely, but compared to other hotels and B&Bs on our tour, this place was quite pricey.

The Castle Pub & Rooms has a fantastic location. The pub itself is pretty good, but the rooms feel old‑fashioned, especially the ensuite which looks tired, tatty, and let down.
