“No”
The staff were great, but the beds left something to be desired.
“Voor een nacht voldoende”
It’s a simple hotel with no extra facilities, a decent bathroom and bed, and the name “Pension en‑of logement” might have been better; for people who are fit and just need a night before heading to Santiago de Compestella on the Camino, it can serve as a reasonable private stop. The hotel has no amenities, you can’t have breakfast (though there are options nearby), because the ground‑floor restaurant is closed and emptied; you must pass through a dark space to a steep, narrow staircase leading to the rooms. A one‑night stay is acceptable but it isn’t suitable for longer stays. For a fee, you can get coffee or tea from a vending machine on the ground floor, which is the only provision. The owner isn’t always present (you receive the front‑door key), and there is no staff.
“Belle chambre grande et moderne”
Belle chambre grande, moderne et calme. Pas d’eau chaude lors de notre séjour. Aucun espace prévu dans la salle de bain pour poser sa trousse de toilette
“Charmig”
The location was good.
“Great location for Camino pilgrims.”
The place sits in a solid central spot, just six minutes from the train station and a few minutes from the start of the Camino; they offer free coffee in the morning but no breakfast, and a new owner opened the hotel in September 2026. Everything else was fine.
