The place is super quiet, small but cozy and fully equipped with everything you need. Communication with the hosts was very straightforward and quick. It’s a bit noisy from the neighbors, but that didn’t bother me personally.

“For the easiest stay possible!”

The location is fabulous, close to the airport, and our window faced the harbor and the witch’s finger. It’s near town for restaurants, groceries, and sightseeing spots. The fridge was spacious and cold, and the kitchen made cooking easy in the small space. Check‑in and check‑out were very simple. I didn’t find the beds uncomfortable as some other guests mentioned, and I slept well. The price was excellent and communicating with Kristian was easy and friendly. One of the “fun facts” in the Faroe Islands audio guide app says this harbor is ideal for trapping and murdering pilot whales en masse, so take that as you will. I wasn’t aware of the extent of this hunting until I visited, and would have changed my plans had I known. This isn’t something the host can control, but it’s worth knowing.

The location was absolutely fantastic for us, with several tourist sites nearby and a great spot by the water. The host was friendly and jovial, and communication was good. The fridge and freezer were small.

“Not recommended”

I originally wanted to give you 1 point, but because of the good location and low price, I can give you 3 points. I sent more than 10 messages in more than two months, and I did not receive a single reply. As a host, no matter how busy you are or how many properties you have, replying to your guests is a basic responsibility. When staying abroad, we cannot simply make a local phone call to the Faroe. Replying to your guests is the most basic form of respect. I simply wanted to know some basic information about the property, because almost none of it was provided in the listing. If you had replied in advance or clearly written the information in the listing, it would have helped guests avoid bringing or buying unnecessary things. For example, I saw reviews saying that bed sheets had to be purchased separately. Also, there was no hot water in the room, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Having many properties is your responsibility. You make money from them, not me. So why should I be expected to understand or excuse you for not replying just because you have many house? I understand that your price is very low for the Faroe Islands, and honestly, I did not have many other accommodation options. But since I paid for the accommodation, I think I deserve at least the basic respect of receiving a reply. I have lived in Europe for 10 years and have travelled to more than 40 European countries. This is the first time I have ever experienced a host like this.Ironically, when we were leaving, we were in a hurry to catch our flight and did not clean the stove perfectly. Suddenly, you were able to reply to us. We stayed for 7 days. Isn't it normal for there to be some small stains or traces after staying for a week? Did you expect us to leave absolutely no trace at all so that the next guest could check in immediately? If you do not show us basic respect, then I don't feel that we have any reason to show you more respect either. The Faroe Islands are a beautiful place, and we met many wonderful local people during our trip
