“Pelli Hof er et udmærket hotel til prisen”
The hotel is a few hundred metres outside the old town, so that’s fine, and it’s close to the city’s large park. Free parking is available, but with many guests at the hotel I doubt there are enough spots. The breakfast was pretty good for the price. The 15 m² room is small but acceptable for a couple of days; the bathroom is nice but also very small, with a desk and a lounge chair. I still don’t get why soft‑boiled eggs in Germany are apparently “hard‑cooked” and often have a green ring between yolk and white. The only thing missing at breakfast was rye bread, which I thought you ate in Rendsburg. The “Reception” sign needs clearer marking. We arrived in the dark and drove straight behind the hotel to the parking area. It took us a long time to realise the reception was the brightly lit area on the other side. The sign should be up so you can see it from the parking lot. The double bed was only about 150 cm wide, which is too narrow; even though the room is small, the bed could have been 180 cm.
