The security was solid, with good doors and locks, but there was no hot or cold shower, and the amenity kit was incomplete.

“Not worth the money at all.”

The electric gate was fine, but I paid 1000p to stay here. The electric locks on the doors were a nightmare. Only community bathrooms are available, shared with other guests, and there is no private bathroom per room. They offer a shared toilet but refuse to provide toilet paper. (I asked and they replied, “it is not our policy to supply this.” Basically, you can use the toilet, but if you don’t want to clean yourself with bare hands, you’ll have a problem.) The access road is like a bombed-out battle zone with countless potholes that a child could get lost in. I’d suggest they cut costs on the ridiculous door locks, invest in a cheaper “one key, one lock” system, and at least supply a few sheets of toilet paper. Not worth the price. Not recommended.

The proximity to shops and McDonald’s (200, 400, 800 m), friendly staff, very comfortable bed, modern room layout and other facilities with useful furniture and white tech (wardrobes, compartments, bathroom with modern shower, modern kitchen with quality appliances—fridge, stove with gas supplied in the price, microwave, coffee machine, hot and cold water dispenser—water supply included, warm air heater) and kitchen and dining utensils, plenty of kitchen compartments and cabinets with a lot of cookware, two large modern TVs, two modern air‑conditioners, a laundry room with a quality washing machine and sink, a big balcony with an extra raised balcony offering a nice 360° view (two tables, two armchairs, three chairs), two comfortable armchairs in the living room, a quieter location with plenty of nature (trees). The balconies and surroundings had a lot of annoying insects, slight dripping (droplets) during heavier rain at one spot in the kitchen (above the kitchen counter), some kitchen compartments were hard to open (though there are really a lot of them), and on TV, free content is mostly only available via “YouTube.”

“If you are going to Tagum don't stay here. I would not go back even if they offered a free room”

There was nothing to like. Everything could have been better. The photos made the room look great, showing a small kitchen and nice CR, but upon arrival the room was small and the shared kitchen and CR were in terrible condition. The toilet area was so small you had to sit sideways on the toilet, the shower area was so small you could hardly turn around. The only thing that might save this place is a total power wash and repaint. It was not a clean place. I moved out after the first night. The owner didn’t speak English, so it was a good thing I had a friend to help. They didn’t even ask why we were leaving.
