Phangan Arena Hostel on Koh Phangan offers 250 beds, dorms and private rooms, all with air‑conditioning or fan and private or shared bathrooms. The hostel features a large outdoor pool, astro‑turf football pitch, tennis and basketball courts, an outdoor gym, ping‑pong and pool tables, a big screen with Netflix, and a 24/7 restaurant and bar.

The room was spacious with air conditioning, which was great, and the pool was nice and well maintained. The bathrooms were extremely dirty, and we even found cockroaches. The staff left a lot to be desired, except for Leandro, who was very helpful and kind. We also had a serious payment issue: we paid through Booking, but upon arrival we were asked to pay again and were told the second payment would be refunded. We paid twice and, three months later, we are still waiting for the refund.
