Located in Kalispell, the Red Lion Hotel Kalispell offers convenient access to the Kalispell Center Mall and nearby dining and shopping options. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, cable TV, microwaves, and small fridges, along with en suite bathrooms including free toiletries and hair dryers. A seasonal indoor pool, fitness centre, and Magic Diamond Casino are on site, and Conrad Mansion is a 15-minute walk away.

We got lost because the directions pointed to the convention center and there were no signs for the main entrance; a security guard had to show us in, and we were assigned a room on the farthest third‑floor spot, then they added a $50 fee for my dog.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable, but the breakfast could have been better—potatoes were awful and eggs tasted like powdered eggs, though coffee, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, and yogurt were good.

The hotel’s spot was handy, right next to a mall that, although lacking many stores, was still cool, and nearby TacoJohns was solid; walking to downtown shops and bars was easy. Breakfast was a treat with real food—scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, plus the usual yogurt and muffins. The front desk helped plan shuttles, and the pool/spa area was tidy. Overall, a solid 10‑out‑of‑10 recommendation, but the elevator was wobbly, always giving a big jump‑start and stopping at the second floor on its own even when we were on the third, so we ended up using the stairs a lot.
