The service was impeccable and the staff were excellent.

“I have stayed here before, last year ,but evidently service has gone downhill since…. Sad.”

The place was clean, but there was no hot water in the room and the whole property smelled like sewage, likely because it’s next to stagnant water and Ecuador lacks proper sewage treatment. The staff on duty were inattentive; the young man at the desk seemed eager to leave.

It’s very clean and comfortable.

The room was very pretty, but the smell of the estuary was noticeable.
