“Belles prestations, j'y retournerai probablement.”

I stayed at six different hotels in Tunisia; Tour Kalef was by far the best (third visit). A five‑star hotel is a bit pricier than a three or four‑star, but the cost at Tour Kalef is justified. The food quality is good, though the internal dining room is a bit noisy; outside dining is fine in good weather. Special thanks to Mr. Ali at the Lobby Bar and Rafika at reception for their kindness and quality service. The only downside: after a back operation, my walking is difficult. The large central rectangular pool is surrounded by a strip of large pebbles and accessed by three steps (one up and two down) that I could not clear due to my condition. A handrail at those three steps is absolutely necessary.

“Un excellent séjour à l’hôtel Tour Khalef !”

We stayed from 15 to 25 September 2026 at Tour Khalef. The hotel was very pleasant, well‑located, with nice facilities and a very warm, attentive team. The value for money was good, with services meeting our expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable, with a lovely view of the gardens and sea from the balcony. Food was high quality, varied, generous, with a wide selection to satisfy all cravings. Huge thanks to the staff for their professionalism, availability, and friendliness throughout the stay. A special shout‑out to Rafika at reception, who was sweet from start to finish, always smiling, helpful, and professional, taking time to inform and assist us with great kindness. She really made our stay even better. Thanks also to Fatiha and Habiba, the housekeepers, for their kindness and quality work, Baccar at the pool bar for his always friendly and attentive service, and Jamaïca from the activities team for his good humour and energy, especially during the darts tournaments. The team is truly pleasant and makes a difference, giving you a desire to return. We had a wonderful holiday at Tour Khalef and will gladly come back. A shuttle to the souk or port would be a plus, the Wi‑Fi is sometimes unstable, and the wine selection, especially the rosé, could be better.

“Good stay ,Disappointing Check-in experience”

Overall the stay was good, but the check‑in was disappointing. The reception staff were very serious and unfriendly, making us feel more like a police station than a hotel. What bothered me most was a female receptionist largely ignoring me and directing the conversation and payment almost entirely to my European wife, even though I am local and the hotel is in my own country. Whether intentional or not, it made me feel uncomfortable and rejected in my own country. Apart from that, everything else during the stay was good. A little more warmth, respect, and equal treatment at reception would make a big difference.
