The hotel’s spot was excellent, near the main sights, and there was free parking across the property; the staff spoke only basic English but were friendly, and you could use a shared onsen for free. My room faced the ocean and the view was gorgeous, yet the décor felt a bit outdated and old‑school, so it might not suit everyone.

特別室が別格でいい。 晴れてる日だと満点の星空の下でお風呂入れるのが最高. お布団に慣れてないときついかも エアウィーブの布団とかだったら最高なんだが お布団慣れしてないならマットレス持参すればパーフェクト

The location was good and the rooms were clean and tidy, though the hallway still carried a strong cigarette smell even though the rooms had less of it.

The staff were very polite and courteous, the onsen schedule was flexible, the room was spacious with all amenities, and the location was great, but the sea‑view windows unfortunately face the 135 highway in Shimoda.
