The place was spotless and they actually enforce a few rules because of the tropical weather, which I appreciated. Just watch out for the deposit thing – if you skip it you might end up losing your cash and any belongings you left behind. Otherwise, a tidy spot for a short stay.

The apartment was clean and cozy, and the kitchen had everything you’d need to cook a decent meal. Nothing fancy, but it did the job nicely.

The pillows were pretty uncomfortable – they definitely need an upgrade – and the common area felt a bit worn. On top of that, there’s no elevator, which makes hauling big suitcases up the stairs a nightmare.

My room was a good size, the bathroom was fine, and having a desk was a nice touch for getting some work done. When I arrived the communal kitchen was a mess, and the sensor lights in the hallway were set so short that I kept stumbling up the stairs in the dark, even tripping once. The lights also flickered on from the lounge area, flooding the hallway with bright light because the door didn’t seal properly.

Overall the place was decent, but the sink area was a problem – dishes piled up on the drying rack for six days without anyone clearing them. In a shared space you’d expect folks to tidy up after themselves, so it was a bit disappointing.
