The room was ordinary, and I chose the wrong room; it felt like a business hotel, and I should have opted for a higher‑ranked room.

I'm still trying to figure out what I just experienced at this hotel - it's definitely not what I'd call a traditional ryokan. The place is huge and made of concrete, sitting on the side of a hill, and it's basically a resort hotel with Japanese-style rooms and onsen. They've got all this crazy stuff inside like karaoke rooms and an arcade, but there's no restaurant, which is a major bummer.

This place was really something special - I loved the location and the whole vibe was super family-friendly. The onsen was amazing, and the water did wonders for my hair and skin. They had all these high-quality amenities, including skin care lotions, which was a nice touch. The yakata rooms were gorgeous and spacious enough for our whole family. We had a blast experiencing traditional Japan, and our tatami room had an incredible view of the mountains.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pretty mixed experience. On the plus side, I loved the remote location - it was super peaceful. The onsen was also really good. However, I was a bit surprised that there was no cutlery in our room, which was a bit inconvenient.
