“Pretty converted farm-building suitable for short/practical stays around Flåm”

Nice spot (indeed on an active farm); the furniture in the room, kitchen, and bathrooms is high‑quality; the value for money is good (~50€/pers./night) for the area. The sound insulation between rooms is poor (we could hear downstairs neighbors until very late – the other rooms were much quieter); there was no table in the room, so we had to leave most of our stuff on the floor; the Wi‑Fi upstairs was bad.

“Perfect for one night.”

I loved the property and the wonderful people I met while sharing the house. My room was the single one next to the living room, and I was woken at 4 pm while another guest was doing a Zoom meeting from the living room outside my door! Guests should be told to use the kitchen instead… it shares a wall with the guest room! It was very upsetting after a long flight and train ride.

“Pretty scenery, adequate but very basic.”

The view, the quirkiness of an old property, the proximity to animals. Staff communication poor, lack of communication between staff, tried to overcharge for a shuttle service which then wasn’t booked properly and failed to turn up, then said we hadn’t paid when we had and had the receipt. Not really enough toilets / bathrooms for all guests. Hand soap / shower gel dispensers were empty and not refilled in bathrooms. Bins needed emptying. No bins in bedrooms. Kitchen was lacking in cutlery (not enough dinner knives for a family of 5), only one hob was working
