The room was clean and the location was great, with a private parking area and a decent breakfast. The pool, however, wasn’t very clean and we didn’t dare swim in it, even though the price seemed justified for such a rare amenity in the area. We knew the room was on the second floor without an elevator, but the room itself had a lot of extra stairs (two or three on arrival, two more to reach the room, two more for the bathroom, and one for the toilet)… it was too risky to navigate in the dark in an unfamiliar place.

The setting and silence were perfect. Access to the library lounge and TV area with hot drinks was great, and the proximity to the dike and old town was convenient. The only drawback was the pool, which was “spontaneously” hard to reach.

The hotel was stunningly atmospheric, everything was top‑class, and it has a private, beautiful area and its own parking. The promenade and the whole town are within walking distance. I booked a breakfast that was served as a buffet, but it turned out I was the only one there that day and it was fabulous. I also want to point out the customer focus: I had a car problem and the manager helped me—she contacted the rental company herself, sorted everything, and even accompanied me to resolve the issue. I’m deeply grateful for those moments. The hotel leaves the best memories and impressions! I’m so glad I accidentally chose this town; despite the car trouble, I had a great rest and was able to safely continue my Normandy itinerary. There were no other issues, everything was flawless.
