The place had a charming vibe, the owner was friendly, and the animal area gave a unique feel. Everything was great except the last night when we found mice running around the room; we didn’t sleep well and it was a bit traumatic, but in a rural setting that can happen.

The wide open spaces, the genuine and authentic atmosphere, and the closeness to the horses made it special, and the breakfasts were very pleasant. Nothing at all – it was perfect!

Breakfast was really good, the atmosphere was calm and the people were lovely. The historic buildings belong to a stud farm that breeds and trains racehorses, and I’d love to take short courses on handling these beautiful animals if they ever become available. There seems to be a communication problem on the part of the host: you didn’t email the owners but instead sent them a text that arrived late. Also, it was a quiet time, yet your company told me the self‑contained apartments were booked when they actually weren’t. Please don’t block people from booking this lovely place by providing incorrect information.
