“Muy sucio y mal olor en pasillos y habitación.”

A convenient stop between the Lake District and Eastbourne, easy access and free parking, plus a tasty, well‑prepared lunch and Full English Breakfast the next day that offered good value. The room had no coffee‑making facility and was quite small, so I had to sleep against a wall.

Great location and free parking, but the room stayed very warm.

The price was good and the beds were comfortable, but the service was not nice; the receptionist looked like she worked hard labor and was unkind. The restaurant seemed to let people from outside who were drunk or under the influence of substances, as marijuana odor drifted from the entrance. When we asked for coffee, we were told it was free, yet the designated spot only offered a fraction of a cup. We left because the smell was rising and it was very loud. The room was clean, but the bathroom door couldn’t close even with a handle. In the morning, housekeeping entered our room without knowing we were there, which was unacceptable.
