The staff were extremely courteous, handed out welcome drinks and fruit, the on‑site restaurant served tasty breakfast, and the bathroom had all the amenities you’d expect; they even let me stay until 21:00 to catch a late flight. The hotel sits close to downtown Dhaka, so the honking traffic can be annoying, and when political protests happen the traffic in front of the hotel can grind to a halt.

The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help. The area around the hotel feels unsafe, with dirty walls and floors; the bedsheets looked clean at first but were worn and stained, and the blanket was terrible. The bathroom had a lot of mold, cigarette smoke from other rooms seeped in through the ventilation, and sometimes cockroaches walked through the room. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping.

The staff were nice and responded quickly to the problem we had. The location was convenient, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and they collected the correct amount of payment—no attempts to overcharge, which was appreciated. They were also flexible with the check‑out time. I chose this hotel because I had read other reviews warning about hidden extras. The price felt high for what we received, especially since the room did not resemble the pictures at all. The toilet emitted a sewage smell, so we had to change rooms. In the corner room, if the toilet or outside window wasn’t closed, we could hear cars honking. The bed had a foot and hand oil print that might be a permanent stain; we didn’t complain because we were only staying one night. The toilet glass, faucets, and other fixtures had a lot of limescale, but that’s common in most hotels we’ve stayed at—just a quick wipe and clean. Bring your own shower slippers and room slippers. If you’re okay with a slightly limescaled toilet or a few minor issues, the hotel is fine, especially with a nice lobby. Don’t forget to tip.
