“Teleurstellend”

The room was smaller than I expected, but it had all the promised facilities: bed, sofa, kitchenette, bathroom, and Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, we had no hot water, and they cancelled the airport shuttle at the last minute, which really threw us off schedule. To make matters worse, the staff just shrugged it off and didn't even apologize. We ended up arriving at the hotel later than planned, and it was a bit of a trek from the airport. To top it all off, the breakfast was a disaster.

This hotel's got some real charm, especially when it comes to the grub. The food is seriously top-notch – I mean, I've had some of the best meals of my trip here. But, there's one major letdown: the pool area is in a bit of disrepair. The water's always cloudy, and there are broken tiles everywhere. Still, if you can look past that, the hotel's a great choice for a relaxing getaway. [REVIEW]

The hotel's location was a real plus - it's perched up a hill, which keeps you out of the chaos of Cebu traffic. The breakfast was decent, considering the price, but nothing to write home about. However, there were a few things that left us feeling a bit disappointed. The lack of drying racks in the restroom was a minor annoyance, and we also had some issues with inconsistent housekeeping - some days our room was spotless, while others it was like they'd forgotten we were even there.

I was really stoked about the hotel's location - it's right in the heart of downtown Cebu with a killer view of the city skyline. But, unfortunately, things started to go downhill from there. The air conditioner in my room would only run for a few minutes at a time, which made it pretty tough to get a good night's sleep. And to make matters worse, there wasn't even a shower mat or rug to stand on in the bathroom, which was a bit of a slip hazard.
