The property was very good. The air conditioner in the second room we were given—the one we had booked—does not cool enough given the hot weather of the place.

The family running the place is very polite and helpful in everything. I did not feel comfortable sleeping on the ground floor with a broken window and stuck with tape. The tiles in the room were very dirty and overall the cleanliness could be much better.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families. The location was ideal—just a short walk from the Giza Pyramids, which made exploring incredibly easy and convenient. The hotel itself was very clean and had a warm, family-oriented atmosphere that made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We stayed as a group of three adults and two young children (both under three), and the setup was perfect for us. Having two bedrooms, along with our own kitchen and dining area, gave us plenty of space and flexibility—something that really matters when traveling with kids. One of the highlights was the rooftop, where we could relax in the evening or enjoy breakfast with a great view. Speaking of breakfast, it was excellent—fresh, satisfying, and a great start to each day. A special mention to the host, who truly was a “hostess with the mostest.” They were incredibly helpful, practical, and genuinely family-oriented. Even though there’s no lift, they kindly assisted us with carrying our luggage upstairs, which we really appreciated. We were also given the option of a ground floor or second floor room, and we chose the second floor for easier access to the rooftop. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Everything was smooth, comfortable, and well-suited for a family trip. Thank you for making our time in Giza so enjoyable!

I’m thrilled to have stayed at Chez l'ami hotel, where every staff member treated me like family. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and convenient, and the quiet surroundings let me enjoy calm moments on my private balcony, whether reading, soaking in the morning sun, or watching the sunset over the pyramids. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the hospitality was outstanding. Thanks to the beautiful and lovely family at Chez l'ami hotel for everything.

The hotel is just a 10‑minute walk from the Giza site, and the communication was good. The rooms are spacious. The ground‑floor room is very dark, the blinds cannot open, and there is no view outside, so I recommend choosing an upper‑floor room.
