The staff welcomed us warmly and were very helpful upon arrival. A bus stops right at the top of the road, letting you hop in and out of York without needing to park. The rooms and hot tub were immaculate and cozy.

The accommodation was really nice and spotless; it wasn’t a party spot at all, so if you’re after a relaxing day, it’s definitely worth staying.

The lodge was spacious and had everything you could ask for. I loved the subtle Hares details on the furnishings. The property is well maintained and the hot tub was just the right size for four people. It was lovely to be surrounded by woodland and take walks. The only thing I wish I had was a bit more guidance on the hot tub controls.
