Nice place. In the morning I couldn’t shower because the water was scalding and couldn’t be mixed; I reported it at reception but they minimized it and made jokes.

Pleasant hotel on the outskirts of town; the city center is reachable by car, the environment is quiet and natural, free parking, and a wellness area.

Wonderful hosts—two daughters and the mom ran the place, very friendly and generous! The location was at the far end of town, surrounded by busy streets, so it was too noisy at night to sleep with the windows open. We used the AC to keep the room cool. On the plus side, it’s on the Via Francigena, so getting on and off the trail is easy.

Impeccable cleanliness, towels always replaced, even though the usual environmental recommendations sometimes aren’t necessary. Reception was very professional. The dining area (breakfast or otherwise) is newly managed and not yet fully rated, except for the chef’s good work. I didn’t have time to use the pool or gym. The room had French‑style beds that are comfortable but disproportionate, leaving little space to move or even lie down. The room feels like a catalog photo from a furniture showroom, cold, as if drawn by someone who never travels. There’s no coat rack on the wall to hang a wet jacket or coat, only a small wardrobe that can’t hold a wet garment (it also contains the mini‑fridge). In a two‑person room there’s only one chair at the table, and the water bottle with chocolate on the nightstand doesn’t add much.
