We stayed here with our family in 2024 and had a very good experience, but the service has declined significantly since then. The food was disappointing, breakfast items ran out even though we paid for the buffet, the villa was uncomfortable with several broken facilities, and there were far too many lizards inside.
The overall feeling was calm and peaceful—almost zen—but there were very few amenities for smokers.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, the room felt very spacious, and the private pool beside the room was large and pleasant; the main pool offered an incredible view, and the cocktails and food served there were excellent. However, the bathrooms lacked bidet sprays, the televisions weren’t smart, the view from our “phang nga pool room” was disappointing because trees blocked the bay on both sides, the deposit requirement was excessive and the refund process could take up to three weeks unless you used the deposit to settle your bill, the layout of the hotel felt like a maze especially in low season making trips to the restaurant or pool cumbersome, and the umbrellas at the main pool were positioned so poorly that they provided no shade for the sunbeds. Overall, the resort seems aimed at lower‑mid‑range guests but misses that genuine luxury feel.
