“I chose the location for work. Clearly this busy hotel appeals to tourists and hikers predominantly.”
The location was key for business reasons, the breakfast was good as was the evening meal, yet this old quaint hotel clearly needs refurbishment in several areas that could cost a fortune; it’s family‑owned, and speaking to the owner, work is underway but I have to mention that £120 per night isn’t cheap in Pitlochry, the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen was a main issue, the shower area was grimy and needed a thorough clean, the bed was uncomfortable, and the beer prices at the bar were too high, clearly exploiting the captive audience.
