“A true home away from home, I will recommend this to anyone visiting La Spezia and when I come back this where I will be”
I was blown away by the place – the room felt secure and cozy, and the location in La Spezia was spot‑on, just a short walk from the train station so I could hop off to nearby villages, Pisa, and Florence with ease. The little view from my window was perfect, especially on the rainy first day when I stayed in bed listening to the rain from the large window. I discovered a new coffee shop every morning, all within a 5‑10 minute stroll, and each evening I’d return for dinner and dessert after my adventures. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, answering every question and giving clear instructions. As a nervous first‑time solo traveler, this stay made me feel safe and relaxed, and I’ll definitely return. If you’re searching for accommodation in La Spezia, this is the spot. The only downside I noticed was the stairs – I’d read about them elsewhere, but the climb was worth it for the proximity to everything.
The lady who runs the place is helpful and friendly, and we’re completely satisfied! The location is great for reaching both the city center and the station.
“Polecam na krótki pobyt, świetne jako baza wypadowa”
The location is excellent, just a few minutes on foot from the station, with a local Italian vibe, a rooftop terrace, unlimited espresso coffee, and friendly interaction with the owner. The apartment is on the 6th floor, but the elevator only goes to the 3rd, which could be an issue for less mobile guests. There is no kitchenette.
“Buona posizione ma scomoda per scale e aria condizionata debole”
The location was convenient near the station. The advertised elevator only covers two floors and is extremely slow; after that, you have to walk about three floors up. The room I ended up in wasn’t very clean, and the air conditioning was weak even at maximum setting.
The room was very nice, spacious and comfortable. It’s close to the station and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Communication with the host was easy.
