Hotel Ottaviano Augusto

The staff were extremely friendly, the room was suitable for a family of five, and the bathroom was clean. Even though the building is old, it seems well maintained. Breakfast had many tasty choices. It was raining, but they lent us an umbrella, and after checkout we were shown a lounge where we could relax. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the station, but otherwise everything was satisfactory. The only issue was a slightly damp smell in the wardrobe.

We loved that there is a restaurant with excellent food at a fair price. We loved that the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and far enough away from the tourist area but close enough to walk to the vatican and the metro (10 minutes). The staff (front desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping) are exceptionally warm and friendly. And an unexpected bonus for us is the church of San Giuseppe al Trionfale is literally 2 steps from the entrance to the hotel so we were able to attend daily Mass. We also like that the room is very clean, the air conditioner very cold and the bedroom and bathroom are very roomy. It is worth mentioning that there are some steps at the entrance of the hotel for those who may have mobility issues. All in all I would definitely book the hotel next time in Rome

I was impressed by the spot, the service, and especially pN Marco who took care of us. The breakfast buffet was tasty and, for Italy, surprisingly varied – there was definitely something for everyone. The front desk was open 24/7.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The hotel and the neighborhood are very quiet in a city full of tourists. I was asked to change rooms on the first day, which was a bit of a delay and unplanned.
