Located directly opposite Borkum's Neuer Leuchtturm lighthouse, the Seehotel Borkum offers individually furnished rooms with satellite TV, private bathrooms, and hairdryers. The breakfast was wonderful, the bathroom had been refreshed, the bed was comfortable, and the bedroom was generally very spacious, but it would be nice to have a kettle with a selection of teas or infusions in every room.

We came on a spur‑of‑the‑moment trip for one night with two adults and a dog, and we loved it! We’ve visited Borkum many times, but this was our first stay at the Seehotel. We’ll definitely return! The staff were super friendly, the hotel had a cool old‑school vibe, and it was all very clean and hassle‑free. Our dog enjoyed a bed, snacks, toys, and blankets in the summer, and we’re thrilled to come back. Breakfast could also be enjoyed with the dog in a separate room, which was great, and the food itself was excellent. The hotel’s location is a 10/10: it’s very close to the train station and the beach.
