A quiet family hotel on a peaceful street, perfect for relaxing. Very pleasant hosts, responsive and helpful. Good bed. The beach, cafés, and shops are 10‑15 minutes away; nearby are massage parlours and the tastiest café on the island. It’s great that breakfast is included—it was wonderful! The room lacks a TV, kettle, and fridge—information to help guests plan their stay efficiently.

The place was quiet and close to everything, and the family was very welcoming. However, the bathroom didn’t have a separate door from the room, and they don’t provide soap or shampoo; they tell you to buy them at the supermarket or, at best, check the shared bathrooms to see if someone else left any. The room photos show a patio with a tiny terrace that was in terrible disrepair, and like many Asian sites, the pictures are from when the property was new or freshly painted, which has nothing to do with reality. The facilities are poorly maintained.

The location is close to the beach, the airport, and the city center, so it feels like home. The breakfasts, lunches, and coffee at La Place are amazing.
