The accommodation is nice and well maintained, everything is very modern, the room was very clean, there is a small fridge, cutlery and dishes are provided in the common area, and a microwave is also available; the outdoor pool area is tidy with plenty of loungers for everyone, but in our room there was no way to hang wet clothes.

The property is clean, fully equipped and can even accommodate four people; it’s away from mass tourism yet close to beautiful beaches, especially Peralta; a minimarket a few steps from the villa offers a bit of everything at fair prices, and for more supplies you can go to the supermarkets in Lourinha 3‑4 km away; the pool is clean, communication with the owner is excellent, the view is lovely, and I would come back, perhaps for a few more days to explore the surroundings (tasting, visits to historic and geological sites); I highly recommend spending a holiday at Pata da Gaivota.

The spot is great – the place looks nice, well decorated, and comes with all the comforts; the pool area is awesome and the whole thing is super quiet. I had a coffee maker, kettle, a small fridge that worked fine, and a TV with all the channels. They even gave us maps, market, restaurant, wine shop, museum, and other spot info. The only downside is that the suite rooms don’t have a kitchen; a small common kitchen and a toaster would be nice. We only had a microwave and dishes. I couldn’t really judge the staff because I only bumped into Susana once to get fresh towels. The place is well kept, but it would be great if someone checked the rooms to make beds, air out, change towels, clean or sweep, especially since it’s a beach spot and everything gets sandy. Parking is a bit of a hassle – we arrived and some careless people had parked their cars poorly, so we couldn’t find a spot. The exit could use some gravel or cement to prevent cars from bumping into each other. My room, Afonso Henriques, had a slight odor on windy days, and the non‑smoking rule isn’t strictly enforced, so the smell can seep in through the windows.
