The price isn’t expensive for the area. The breakfast was super extensive and actually too much to eat for one person. The room is very dated and quite dark. The shared bathroom is also very dark.

The service was truly exceptionally friendly and helpful, answering or handling any questions immediately, and offering useful tips for nice day trips; I had the chance to try all the food every day for three weeks, and it was all very delicate and varied at very moderate prices; the long opening hours (no day off!) let me dine even late at night; the comfort offered seemed to exceed the price of the stay, and comparable offers in the region were often much more expensive; the quiet location allowed for a peaceful evening walk, and the nearby cities were quickly reachable via a scenic route; I can recommend this accommodation without hesitation and will book it again on my next trip. It would have been even nicer if I hadn't been traveling for business :-)
