“FILTHY and Uncomfortable Soba Bed”

The apartment is in a great spot, though it’s on the top floor of an old building with no elevator. The kitchen is well furnished, and the balcony is a nice place to relax. However, the sofa bed was filthy and neglected, covered in sweat and other bodily fluids, and the whole room reeked of sweat like unwashed underpants left to rot in a gym locker. It seemed the sofa covers had never been washed, and similar stains were all over the blinds and the chair cushion. The sofa bed setup was confusing, and the owners didn’t provide any guidance. The only sheet supplied was a fitted sheet that isn’t made for a sofa bed, and it also smelled of mildew—the entire closet, as well as the couch cushions, had the same odor. They probably left the damp fitted sheet in the closet to rot. The couch’s condition was so filthy and neglected that it should be replaced or heavily cleaned before the next guests. Stains and stench aside, it’s frankly uncomfortable to sleep on regardless. The bathmat wasn’t washed between stays; two guests cycled through the adjoining room, and the cleaning staff never even bothered to replace or clean it. Lazy, neglectful, and gross. P.S. The Wi‑Fi didn’t seem to be working—either they changed the network name or it doesn’t exist at all.

“Perfect for a short, sleep-only stay”

I liked the location and the entry instructions were clear, and the price fits anyone who just needs the basics, but the Wi‑Fi stopped working about half the time.

The accommodation is well‑maintained, recently renovated, and spotless, and the hosts are attentive and very friendly, though it sits on the 4th floor with no elevator, so a few stairs are worth the effort.
