A haven of calm in the heart of Oaxaca. The spacious rooms are stylishly furnished and the fantastic rooftop terrace has a cozy, relaxed vibe. Every morning a generous breakfast is served, and at the end of the day a house wine glass is waiting for you. What really makes this hotel special is the incredibly friendly staff who give the best tips for tours, restaurants, and arranging a private driver. Everything is spot on. The best! Nothing else!

I was skeptical about my first visit to Casa Antonieta, but the city’s charm and the hotel’s quaint beauty won me over; the staff were mostly excellent and the location is great, plus the on‑site restaurant/café is pretty good. The only downside was that there are no lifts or elevators, so a heavy suitcase is a hassle, and the bathroom had a noticeable moldy/damp smell, probably because it lacks adequate lighting or natural light.
