Everything was fine except the parking spots, which were too close together. A man in the dining room kept sitting in the same spot as he had two weeks earlier, watching TV without moving, and when a few guests came for breakfast they couldn't find a seat and left.

I skipped breakfast, but I liked that there’s a Waffle House next door. The room needs an update: the bathroom vent is clogged with dust, the shower curtain doesn’t work well, the floor flooded, the toilet is too close to the door, and a larger person struggles to enter and close it. Men were hanging out on the stairs, drinking, smoking, and leaving trash behind; every time I used the stairs they had to stand up and move out of the way, which was nerve‑wracking for me as a woman. I didn’t sleep well because of the noise outside, the sirens, and the traffic, which added to the unrest.
