“an absolute gem”
I absolutely loved my stay at Espera, and I can’t think of a more perfect place for relaxation. The location is ideal, a short walk from the nearest beach, with wonderful views—my room had a sunrise view and I received gorgeous warm light every morning. The hotel restaurant, Amoni, where breakfast is served, also offers an amazing sunset view. The staff are superb—friendly, warm, helpful, accommodating. My room was very spacious, plenty of room to unpack and relax, and the bed was very comfortable. I adored my little veranda, so quiet and private, with only the sound of waves and wind. I usually skip breakfast buffets to explore local bakeries, but the breakfast area’s setting drew me in, and I liked the breakfast so much I stayed for it every morning. I also tried the restaurant for dinner, and it was really great, with super nice waitstaff. A perfect stay all around, and I would go back in a heartbeat! The only nitpick: I wasn’t a big fan of the toilet‑shower area being in one continuous space, as the floor would get very wet after a shower and take a while to dry.
