The staff were very nice and helpful, the breakfast and dinner were also good! We liked the thermal spa the most, where we went daily… the park is also lovely for walks. We have already stayed at the “Sophienhaus” several times and don’t want to go back. Everything was clean and the spa is close by, but the décor is 80s‑style. The bed is uncomfortable. It really needs renovation.

The room was decent, but the staff had the poem to Faust in their hands, which felt off. There was no proper breakfast for paying guests, and the thermal pool could only be used from 14 o’clock at the earliest.

The place was very quiet and the thermal spa was accessible at any time, with friendly staff. I wouldn’t book the dinner again; there are better options at the clinic’s restaurant or in town.

The staff was friendly, but the whole setting felt like a rehab clinic, which was questionable. If I had been ill, the experience might have been different, but as it stands, no thanks, not again. Typical sick‑house smell, breakfast served in the dining hall, food very limited and unpleasant, and still expensive. I could have stayed at a 4‑star hotel instead.
