I found the location absolutely strategic, and the check‑in was flawless; the room was nicely furnished with everything within reach and the breakfasts were good. The only downside was that at night there were moments when something like a noisier ventilation system kicked on.

The location is excellent, right next to the astronomical clock. They gave us a second‑floor room instead of the attic without extra charge, so it was more comfortable. Breakfast was good with both sweet and savory options, and we could get a take‑away breakfast on the last day because we had an early bus. During the hotel payment with card they charged a 20‑euro fee without asking which currency we wanted to use, and they didn’t specify it beforehand (we would have paid in cash in the local currency). The pillows were too soft. Breakfast starts at 8.00, I’d push it back by half an hour.

The hotel sits just steps from the Clock, tucked into a quieter side alley near popular restaurants; the area is lively and you can walk to many sights. The Top room was perfect for a solo traveller and the breakfast was good, but while the room itself was quiet, street noise could be loud (not the hotel’s fault).
