The common areas were large with plenty of seating, and the location was good near the children's slope and ski trails. However, neither the kitchen nor the shared toilets were cleaned during the week we stayed. The rooms were cramped and offered no storage.

The hostel had plenty of social spaces and a big kitchen that could hold a lot of personal fridge and freezer items. The location was excellent for anyone wanting access to ski slopes and cross‑country tracks, with a short walk to the lift (ski‑in to the children's slope), the ski shop, and the hotel where keys were collected and returned. The nearest store is in Undersåker, so having a car is a plus. The main issue was that everything felt very worn, especially the bed and mattresses. The optional cleaning fee was outrageously high considering the rooms were small, and I felt the room rate itself was also on the high side for the standard.

The room was simple but good, the sauna was nice, and the hostel’s location was great. The shared areas were large and the kitchen had plenty of space. The kitchen was dirty and needed a thorough cleaning of the compost and recycling bins, etc., regularly. Many old machines that don’t work take up space, and there were large pots that couldn’t be used—those should be removed. The organization of cutlery and other household items was poor.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt personal, and the location was perfect for families.
