The property is basically pleasant and has potential, but several discomforts really spoiled the experience. We didn't know in advance that the back room we ended up with faced a ditch and had no view; this should be clearly stated at booking because the room’s location matters. The biggest issue was that, during the booking, no one mentioned that on the day we stayed there would be a party/event at the property, nor that we would have to pay an additional entrance fee on top of the room rate. When we booked and paid for the night, we received no notice that an extra mandatory charge would apply that day. The event was almost unavoidable because it took place at the same venue as our accommodation. To avoid the party, we would have had to leave the place we were staying, which we had already paid for. It was especially unpleasant that the next day we were charged for the party entrance fee, even though we were not informed of this mandatory surcharge at the time of booking. A proper solution would be to list the room at a higher price that includes the event fee and clearly state that the night has a party, or to avoid charging guests after the fact for an event held at the same location where they already paid. This lack of upfront information and the post‑booking fee felt amateurish and petty.
