Andrea welcomed us warmly and helped us park on the private mountain lot, gave us tips, and arranged for the car to stay the following days. He also coordinated the ferry and local bus to explore the Amalfi Coast. Together with the superb room and the well‑prepared breakfast on the terrace (or inside if the weather didn’t allow outdoor dining), we had a great time among the lemon groves. Andrea thought along with us, his tips aided our day planning, and he was always quick to respond. A must‑visit address! No negatives.

Andrea greeted us warmly at reception, giving clear directions and showing genuine friendliness. He is very polite, a great conversationalist, and very pleasant; he has a small dog named Spoty who greeted us every morning with affection and always wanted a treat. The room was always impeccably tidy, and breakfast was prepared on the spot with charm and care from Andrea and his wife. The view is stunning, though it comes at a price, haha. As advertised, we already knew we’d have to climb stairs to reach the lodge, which is tough with wheeled luggage; a transfer is advisable. I counted 296 steps from the base, and there are two separate trails. We first took the harder one, following Google Maps, then Andrea showed us a slightly easier route, but the number of steps remains significant. You’ll have to make that trip at least once a day unless you’re willing to get up and go back to the restaurant. In our case, it happened only once when we went to rest and then returned for dinner.

“L9vely location in Minori”

The location in Minori is lovely. Andreas, his dad, and their beautiful dog Spot were all wonderful. The croissants at breakfast were delicious. We walked down to town a few times and up to Ravello (a hard walk for us – not in our 30s anymore) and caught the local bus that dropped us at the villa. We saw an amazing view of fireworks up the hill, and Spot hid in our room – Andreas had to rescue him. The sheets could be newer.

This is the perfect spot for stressed people! The only thing that barks is the dog. Relax by the pool, have breakfast in the lemon garden, or simply sleep in without street noise. Absolutely wonderful!
