I loved the delicious food, the nice setting, the super clean environment, and the attentive staff; everything was great, and I really enjoyed it. Everything was fine.

The place is central, has several pools, and the beach is pretty with little seaweed. The dining options are limited; on Saturday the crowd is biggest and the steakhouse closes early, while the Asian spot can't handle everyone. We tried to book early but the only open slot was at 10 am and it was already full. Because there were no available tables, the buffet, the Italian, the Bristol and the seafood spots were all cramped. The food is tasty, though at the buffet the pozole and rice were salty. I recommend checking the tables beforehand; there was a harmful insect on a napkin at the buffet and a dirty napkin at the Bristol. The waiter and the hostess at the Bristol made up for that bad experience. Nightlife is weak—just a dance in the theater and a solo singer in the lobby, nothing else. Rooms had cleaning issues: a pillow in the closet had mold, and a corner of a bed base was dirty. When we entered the room, we saw a painted number 6 that gave us a strange first impression. We were lucky to see the sunrise and watch a few ex‑situ turtles hatch, with birds eating them; I suggest boosting this activity because they’re part of a conservation program, and the sustainability messages feel contradictory when not evident in practice. A tractor passed in the morning, possibly crushing some turtles. I appreciate the effort to avoid plastic bottles.
