The place sits right inside the city walls, which is fantastic. Inside the hotel the rooms are spacious and tastefully designed. The breakfast was outstanding; if you’re traveling off‑season or arrive early, you can even sit on the balcony and enjoy it. The only downside is that there are no lifts to the guest rooms, so people who are less mobile or disabled might have trouble—though it could have been a temporary issue during our stay, and they do have a lift somewhere else.

The staff were amazing and the property sits perfectly at the entrance of the Old Town, so we didn’t have to lug luggage all over the city. Service was excellent, and the windows really kept out the noise from the main square.

The location is great, and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a nice room on our first night, but the second room we were assigned to wasn’t as good.
